Not everyone wants to get involved in the same way. There are a number of ways in which you can help. Here are a few:
Volunteer Your Time
Help us with the Milton Keynes Festival. We want this festival to become the biggest and best annual festival in the country. We need marshals, stewards, first aiders, dancers, dance groups, singers, people with classic vehicles, emergency service workers, etc. If you have something you feel you can do and want to help then please contact us.
Put a local group together
There are a number of local Filipino groups around the country. These allow people to get to know each other and form the basis of the local Filipino community. Most UK cities and large towns have enough Filipino residents to form a small group which can start with social events - meeting to remind each other of the culture of the Philippines with foods and video's from 'home'. Once the group is established it can raise money for charities and other good causes. Please don't forget those back home and FIESTA which strives to assist the Philippine Emergency Services. Often not thought of till they are needed. If you need a constitution for your group then contact the Chairman who will only be too pleased to help.
If you have friends in your neighbourhood who you think will help you in arranging a local event then please organise a local event to raise money for the emergency services of the Philippines. Coffee evenings, dinners, dances, raffles, anything at all. If you want somebody to come to your group and speak about what FIESTA does, then let the Chairman know.
Festival Help
We need help during the build upto the Festival. Do you know somewhere where we could get a raffle prize or a prize for a competition? Do you know soemone who would sponsor us? Could you sell some raffle tickets or some lucky programmes? Do you know anyone who would like to perform? Or would you just be helpful in letting your group of aquantancies know about the Festival? Any of these could be of help to us. Contact us now - the earlier the better.
Medical Equipment
Do you work in a hospital or for a fire or ambulance service? Or do you know somebody who does or some-one who has some old medical equipment in their garage/attic? Anyone who can obtain medical equipment for a hospital or ambualnce service or fire service equipment then please tell us. We can ship it to the Philippines free of charge where it will no doubt be used.
Auction Items
Do you have anything that you no longer require? Something that will be useful to others and might raise a few pounds on an Ebay Auction? The get it to us and we can put it on EBay and hopefully make a few pounds. These are some of the things already donated -

If at any time you wish to make a donation to FIESTA, again contact us. If you have a company and you wish to advertise on these web pages then contact us.
If you want to donate equipment to the emergency services of the Philippines then we can help you. We can advise you as to what is required by the services and help you by transporting the equipment to Cebu free of charge. Basically if you donate equipment we will assist you to ensure it is appropriate and gets to the right people. We will also ensure that there is some publicity in the Philippines and in this country and that your name is on the equipment concerned. Your name will also appear on our web site in our Roll of Honour Page and we hope to hold a dinner every so often when we have enough people to make a decent event.
